Group Team Building at Grampians Retreat
Start your program with a real ‘ice breaker’ on the Giant Swing. This activity is sure to get the adrenalin running.
After the Giant Swing, a guided tour of the property will orientate and prepare your group for the outdoor team building exercises.
Then enjoy an afternoon tea break followed by an indoor activity. Have some free time before dinner.
After dinner, perhaps a short intro to your program will set the scene for the days ahead.
Then join us by the campfire with our campsite musician. Join in with singing, request some favourites or just sit back and enjoy some wonderful music under the stars.
If this sounds like too much relaxing on the first night, then you may like to test your skills on the night reflector trails.
Whatever you have in mind, just let us know, so that we are able to assist you in making your team building program a success.
Whilst thinking about what you would like to incorporate in your activities, browse over our site and choose what activities you think would suit best.
A sure way to have some challenges is with archery, low ropes and our group initiatives. Then follow up with some fun on the flying fox.
Another test for your group and team spirit is our rogaining or photo trail.
Ask us about our on site massages or natural therapists or about other off site activities such as abseiling or rock climbing. Or do you want some fun in learning how to play the didgeridoo?
Clubs and special interest groups at Grampians Retreat
We have hosted many clubs and groups from Quilters, to Twitchers, to Motorbike enthusiasts!
Many of Australia’s top universities use Grampians Retreat for their ecology students who study the unique and ubiquitous flora and fauna on the property. They have set up full science labs in the Recreation Room, which has also been set up as a giant sewing room for Quilting Group weekends. Groups from overseas have come to have an Aussie bush experience complete with friendly Kangaroos, Echidna’s and many iconic Aussie animals lounging around their cabins!
We have hosted corporates who want team building retreats, as well as yoga retreats and sporting groups who want some action on the flying fox, ropes course, archery and giant swing to name a few.
We’ve had artists in residents, and art’s groups come and visit “The Gallery” on our property, with amazing views of Mt Abrupt. They have spent days painting there, and on the river flats, surrounded by the beauty of nature and the serene seclusion.
The options are endless!
With a very large recreation room and events space, an indoor “cinema” and projector facilities, white boards, TV, trestle tables, self-catering kitchen, BBQ area with outdoor seating, solar heated pool, a commercial kitchen (and plenty of room for motorbikes!!), plus fully catered options, we are equipped to meet your groups needs.
